Bruny Island is one of my favourite places in all of Tasmania. There’s just something about that place that is simply indescribable. From the rolling rugged cliffs to the abundance of wildlife - there’s no place like it. Amanda and Chris’ Bruny Island elopement was everything you could imagine and more.
They invited a group of their closest friends and family to stay in the Cloudy Bay Beach House to witness their marriage and party all night with them. As usual in Tasmania, the weather was sketchy all day. But the wind and the rain added to the experience and I would shoot in that kind of setting over bright sun any day of the week.
Most of the incredible styling and details of this elopement were done by the bride and groom. They did a bloody amazing job to DIY all the decorations, you’d think a team of stylists spent days preparing this.
