Naomi + Frank

The first question every couple asks themselves when getting engaged - should we elope or should we have a wedding? Be like Naomi + Frank and do both! An intimate elopement on Bruny Island followed by an all out fiesta wedding at Mona Museum. This insane day was packed end to end with festivities and was planned and executed from start to finish in just 6 weeks!!

In our catch ups before the wedding, I got to know Naomi and Frank really well. They told me about their lives and how much they value time with their kids and going on outdoor adventures. They wanted their day to be packed full of activities and celebrations, and they wanted it to be a massive adventure for their family of 5. They wanted to fake nothing and have genuine experiences. They wanted their wedding day to be a true representation of their lives through nature, art, food, wine and dancing.

With all that in mind, we crafted a day built around exactly that. There was an intimate forest elopement on Bruny Island, beach adventures and kite flying, a grand ceremony, art experiences, food for the senses and dancing late into the night. This combination of elopement and wedding is everything that is good about the modern day marriage. It’s the best example I’ve ever seen of two people throwing out the book on “how to get married” on having a day that truly represents them as a family.
